The Liebert EXM UPS is based on a reliable, double conversion power topology that uses an efficient transformer-free design. Excellent efficiencies of 97% are generated and can be enhanced to 99% using our unique Eco Mode. A unity power factor delivers more capacity in a smaller footprint. Available in a fixed capacity or a scalable, redundant configuration from 10-200kVA/kW in 208V and 50-250 kVA/kW in 480V, each utilizes a modular construction design with optimized ancillary cabinets designed to save the customer footprint and cost.

The new touchscreen control panel ensures Status At A Glance convenience, flexible views and multiple security options. Intelligent controls and communications integrate with Liebert Nform, SiteScan and the Trellis Platform as well as 3rd party BMS and DCIM systems. LIFE Services provides 24x7 remote monitoring by our expert staff to improve availability and lower labor costs.

Quick Configure Program

The Liebert® EXM™ UPS is now available in Quick Configure SKUs in order to enable rapid quoting and ordering. Simply select the kVA size and battery run time required, and for 30kVA and 40kVA sizes you may also select whether a 480 volt input transformer is required.

Lithium Ion Batteries Available for the EXM UPS

Lithium-ion (LIB) – These energy storage systems are becoming an effective alternative in some data center applications. Offerings vary, depending on the selective chemistry of the batteries utilized. In general, LIBs can provide effective performance by providing a greater power density, thus reducing the footprint and weight involved and in some cases extending the cycle count lifespan when compared to the more standard valve regulated acid battery (VRLA). In some situations, LIBs can effectively operate at higher temperatures than VRLA batteries, without significant degrading.

Emergency Lighting: UL

Underwriter’s Lab 924 standard has long applied to emergency lighting and power equipment, intended for connection to branch circuits of 600 volts or less. Such equipment shall automatically supply illumination or power or both to critical areas and equipment in the event of failure of the normal electrical supply, in accordance with Article 700 or 701 of the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70, the Life Safety Code, NFPA 101, the Fire Code, NFPA 1, the International Building Code, IBC, and the International Fire Code, IFC. 

It should be noted that UL924 and UL924A are nationwide standards and that differing state/local codes have jurisdiction.
